Mr. Chen received his Master’s in Law from the International Law Department of China Foreign Affairs University. Mr. Chen once served as the Director of Secretariat of an Arbitration Committee, responsible for general international affairs of the committee, including coordinating the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards. Mr. Chen joined Tiantai Law Firm on May 2013, and he currently serves as a senior partner and managing partner of the firm.
Mr. Chen is also serving as an arbitrator for China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), Shanghai Arbitration Commission (SHAC) and the Arbitration Commission for Chinese Football Association (CFA).
Mr. Chen has extensive practical experience in arbitration and litigation, especially the disputes arising from areas of commercial contracts, corporations, automobile manufacturing, construction & real estate, investments and finance. Mr. Chen works in both Chinese and English languages.

Represented a Hong Kong company in a construction compensation claim before a Tianjin people’s court；
Represented a Shaanxi company in an appeal before the Supreme People’s Court in a dispute arising from a construction contract against a Gansu company;
Represented a Chinese-German Joint Venture against a Beijing company in disputes arising from land lease agreement before a Beijing court;
Represented a Hong Kong public company before CIETAC in a land dispute; Represented a German company in an equipment customization compensation claim against a Heilongjiang company before CIETAC;
Represented a Chinese iron and steel company in sale and purchase contract dispute before the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce;
Represented a manufacturing company in the enforcement of a foreign arbitral award before the Langfang Intermediate People’s Court against a Peruvian mining company;
Represented a group company in the enforcement of a civil judgment in a foreign jurisdiction before the Shenyang Intermediate People’s Court against a Kuwait company;
Represented a Korean company in the confirmation of an arbitral award before the Beijing No.4 Intermediate People’s Court against a Chinese company;
Represented a Chinese-German Joint Venture in disputes arising from equipment purchase and installation before CIETAC;
Represented a Hong Kong individual in asset acquisition dispute before the Shanghai Arbitration Commission;
Represented a Chinese-German Joint Venture in disputes arising from a parts supply contract before CIETAC against a U.S. sole proprietorship.
