Tiantai Law Firm Supports the China-Arab States Expo

Between Sept. 21 to 24, 2023, the 6th China-Arab States Expo was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia of China. This expo, themed " New Era, New Opportunities, New Future", focused on economic and trade cooperation, highlighted digital economy, expanded emerging industries, and aimed to achieve new and greater results in China-Arab cooperation.

During the expo, Ms. Fang Liu, a Senior Partner and the Director of International Practice of Tiantai Law Firm, on behalf of its Yinchuan office, signed a " Strategic Co-operation Agreement on Production Capacity, Economy and Trade in China and Overseas Industrial Parks" with the Ningxia CHINA-ARAB Wanfang Investment Management Inc.. Based on the China-Oman (Duqm) Industrial Park, the two parties aim to provide professional services for Chinese enterprises' “going out” strategy. The China-Oman (Duqm) Industrial Park is located in Duqm Special Economic Zone (SEZ), SEZ covers an area of 2,000 square kilometers, with a coastline of 80 kilometers, and is currently the largest SEZ in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Coincided with the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and the 10th year of upgrade from the China-Arab Economic and Trade Forum, China-Arab Expo has been an essential platform for the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative jointly built by China and Arab countries.
