Tiantai Provide Assistance in the School-enterprise System Reform of Shandong State-owned Assets Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. and Shandong University

Tiantai assisted Shandong State-owned Assets Investment Holding Co., Ltd. and Shandong University in the school-enterprise system reform. On December 27, 2019, the two parties signed the Agreement on Gratuitous Transfer of State-owned Property Right, based on which Shandong University will transfer 100% of the equity held by it in Shandong Shanda Industry Group Co., Ltd. to Shandong State-owned Assets Investment Holding Co., Ltd. gratuitously. The target of the transfer includes totally 47 enterprises, including Shandong Shanda Industry Group Co., Ltd. and its affiliates. At present, the transaction is still subject to the approval of the Shandong Provincial; State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and the Ministry of Education.

The head office and Jinan Branch Office jointly won the bid. Legal assistants Gang SUN, Yazhu SHI, Lihui CHEN, Dandan LU and lawyers such as Hua LIU and Guixia XING of Jinan Branch Office jointly conducted legal due diligence on the 47 target enterprises that have been transferred gratuitously this time, and issued legal opinions to the Shandong Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission for the gratuitous transfer involving changes in state-owned equity of listed companies, as the legal adviser of the transferee, Shandong State-owned Assets Investment Holdings Co., Ltd.

As the first project jointly completed by the head office and Jinan Branch Office through cooperation, it has achieved good results. Not only has it strengthened the cooperation and exchanges between the head office and branch offices, but also promoted the resource sharing between the head office and branch offices and their integrated development.
